navigate is a community that aims to cover all aspects of life; we want to hear and share the perspectives of young creatives- in particular, those whose voices aren't currently amplified in the creative sector.

according to recent statistics, highlighted by the creative industries federation, creative fields comprise of only 11% of individuals from the BAME community, 36.7% women, and over 90% of the industry is occupied by those at a socio-economic advantage. for this reason, navigate aims to project the voices of those who, evidently, aren't heard: ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQIA+, disabled individuals and the working class. we will consider sharing work from those who fit into the more privileged groups, but please understand why the previously mentioned will undoubtedly be prioritised.

navigate, in essence, was created as a place to come for advice, inspiration and direction. we want to hear your stories, experiences, tips- navigate is a place for creative expression, and creative ways to help!
