submission guidelines

thank you for your interest in contributing- we’d love to see your work!

each issue will have a specific theme, which will be published across our social media platforms (including the website); currently, we want submissions to relate to the proposed theme. in the future, we plan on accepting work unrelated to the theme to feature on the website- so stay tuned! otherwise, there are very few rules- express your creativity in whatever way works for you!

in terms of specific formatting, we accept:
☆ poetry
☆ prose
☆ photography
☆ paintings
☆ illustrations and beyond!
all we ask is that any work you submit is created by you, and that it doesn’t contain any hateful or hurtful messages! we want everyone to feel welcome here :)

all submissions must include:
★ genre (type of art)
★ location
★ artist’s name and social media handle(s)- if you would like to remain anonymous, please let us know
★ a brief cover letter explaining a little about yourself, along with any specific requirements you have for presenting your work (we want to do your work as much justice as possible!)
please note, if you’d like to send more than one submission for a specific issue, we’d appreciate if you sent them both separately!
